Singapore trials business travel 'fast lane' without quarantine period
Jun 10, 2020, 09:28 PMI wouldn't bother travelling overseas till thePandemic is over. I would rather just travel within Australia or to NZ, and not face all these restrictions and be forced to be admitted to a Singapore hospital for a minor covid infection!

Qantas rejigs reward bookings for Emirates, Cathay Pacific and more
Jun 22, 2019, 04:27 AMMy take on the changes that airlines are making to FF programs is that they do not want you to make it easy for you to use points for premium seats, either they severely restrict the seats or they will gradually keep increasing the points required. Qantas is not alone in this , Singapore did this...

Singapore Airlines increases KrisFlyer redemption rates
Jan 04, 2019, 07:15 PMThe executives at Singapore Airlines hate FF miles being used to make premium cabin bookings and clearly have a strategy to make redemption bookings more difficult, thereby forcing Krissflyer members into paying for flights. What they don’t realise is that resentful customers will not rewa...

Etihad launches double-daily Airbus A380 flights to Sydney
Apr 30, 2017, 11:31 AMIt's really poor planning on part of etihad and it really makes them look bad. A better move would have been to drop the older 777 service to Melbourne and retain the A 380. They could have added a thrice weekly 787 if the demand was there. Now the message that Etihad flyers from Melbourne are ge...

Would Qantas devalue its frequent flyer points?
Jun 10, 2020, 09:35 PMNothing would surprise meQantas FF points are a scam anyway unless you are a high status FF They would much rather have you spend them on pots and pans than a business class redemption !

Cathay Buisiness Award Seat Availabililty The lack thereof!
Dec 03, 2017, 10:28 PMHas anyone noticed how hard it is to get business class award seats on Cathay between Melbourne or Sydney and Hong Kong? Not sure what’s going on but Cathay seems to have stopped releasing these seats. They have availability in PE but not in Business. Any opinions/ comments would be welcome.

Is this right? No availability for reward J SIN-BNE (or MEL, SYD) Oct 2018
Dec 03, 2017, 10:09 PMI am assuming you are referring to Qantas. I think it’s too early, there should be plenty of availability esp when the A 380 service starts. BTW has anyone noticed how stingy CX is on Business award bookings from MEL and Sydney? They are just not releasing the seats.
