Went through this and into the new lounge today. Long line, they need that second security channel ASAP. But the new business lounge is astounding, no way would I have thought I was in the space occupied by the old lounge. Tasty Mexican food too!

I'd agree, Qantas overall winner mainly due to lounges, which on long east-west flights are more important than say SYD-MEL. Incredible! My only concern right now is how much noise you could get from a family of four sitting together, we already know how noisy one or two kids can be with a parent, but put the whole family together in this 'open living room' design and I reckon there will be a LOT of noise.

Qantas domestic business lounges can be used by OneWorld Emeralds including Qantas Platinums but not by anybody with Silver or Bronze or no status at all, unless those people are for example flying business class with Qantas. Golds can get into the Qantas Club lounges.
