Emirates to buy another 36 Airbus A380s in US$16bn deal
Jan 19, 2018, 08:19 AMI agree that Emirates Bussiness on the 777 isn’t good but my previous comment was more a point of having choices of when to fly.

Emirates to buy another 36 Airbus A380s in US$16bn deal
Jan 18, 2018, 09:22 PMDon’t know why they are doing this. I would rather 4 B777’s at different times rather than 2 A380.

Dec 15, 2017, 10:24 AMExcellent news!I can see the next batch of 787-9s being ordered...they will totally order more than 8

Airbus A350-900ULR flights are niche market with premium price
Dec 05, 2017, 04:56 PMSurely if they are buying the 787 they would buy the 777-8/9 as they are the same family?

Best Emirates A380 Business Class Seats [+Seat Map]
Oct 14, 2017, 05:06 PMThe only seats on the EKA380 are 100% fully flat. I know some seats have slightly less legroom but they are all flat beds.

Norwegian plays down plans for Sydney fights
Sep 26, 2017, 12:34 PMDon't forget Emrirates is looking at Budget Economy on their planes. Cheaper than economy and less frills. Interesting concept.

Emirates adds fourth daily Sydney-Dubai Airbus A380 flight
Sep 12, 2017, 08:35 PMFar out...why doesn't Qantas just run its new 787 from the east cost to Dubai and then back. Surely they can fill that metal.

Qantas brings Boeing 717s onto more Brisbane flights
Aug 10, 2017, 10:07 AMSo I guess the long term question is....what will they repalce the 717 with? CS100? CS300? An E-Jet....these 717's and F100's for that matter, are getting on a little bit. It will be interesting to see what they choose.

Virgin Australia eyes China hubs to end its losing streak
Aug 01, 2017, 08:38 AMWhy are they retireing the E190's..they are only 9 years old yet they have 27 Year old Fockers in their fleet?Surely they are losing money doing that?

Qantas: no new transcontinental Boeing 737 business class seats
Jul 17, 2017, 04:55 PMTime for Qantas to get some more 787-9 with some more seats on the Asian routes and and free up the A330 to be a domestic workhorse and across the Tasman to NZ.
-
Qantas to keep Dubai hub even as it plans non-stop Sydney-London
Jun 10, 2017, 12:37 PMI wonder if Qantas would schedule a Mel/Syd/Bris to DXB and then back again allowing us to then jump on an EK out to Europe. Better use of a A380...less time sitting around. I would love to do a QF metal to DXB then have the choice of EK to heaps of EU destinations. Thoughts?

Emirates axes Sydney-Auckland Airbus A380 flights
Jun 01, 2017, 09:13 AMSo where are they getting this "extra" metal from? Surely they don't have A330's just sittting around? Have they purchased some...or does it mean that a 787 is replacing an A330 on a route into Singapore or Hong Kong?

Qantas Melbourne-Perth-London Boeing 787 flights start March 24
Apr 27, 2017, 08:09 AMQantas have a number of slots that are leased by BA..Maybe Qantas took some of the back....only time will tell!
-
Qantas Melbourne-Perth-London Boeing 787 flights start March 24
Apr 27, 2017, 08:08 AMI would love the QF 9 to be slightly eariler than the Emirates flight going to Dubai...that way you can beat the crowds to the showers then have your full pick of other European Destinations.
