QF J service
Oct 06, 2022, 04:33 PMMy wife and I recently flew Mel/Fco/Mel, via Perth, domestic catering was poor and wine selection very average only one white was offered a Hunter Semillon. The transit in Perth was great. The QF International lounge at Perth airport was superb. Both of the long -haul flights were great, top-not...

Qantas flights to Johannesburg after Boeing 747s are retired
Dec 30, 2019, 11:42 AMSignificant reduction in capacity 7x789 V 6 x 747. I fly the route on a fairly regular basis and the aircraft always appear to be full. A couple of options - 1] 4xA380 and 3x A330 via Per. 2] 7x789 and 3xA330 via Per. This would be subject to QF reaching and agreement with Perth airport.

Qantas domestic business class experience
Jan 22, 2019, 02:56 PMI am fan of QF fly with them regularly, Gold and just about to make P, but I think the domestic service these days can be a bit hit and miss. The welcome back can or cannot happen, the crew can be friendly or just do there job.The catering on short haul J is very average and unless someone else ...

No money for the Qantas Singapore Lounge
Aug 29, 2018, 10:17 AMQF will go for 6-8 F class on the ULR and that is why Boeing and Airbus will take a while to come up with the right aircraft, not to forget the engines, doubt whether QF would ever go for RR again. The config will be premium heavy; 6-8 F, minimum 70 J and 60 PE an...

What routes for Qantas' next six Boeing 787s?
May 28, 2018, 02:52 PMI think that SYD/DFW will move to 7 x 789 and they will introduce 4 x 789 MEL/DFW, JNB will transition to 4 x A380 and SCL 3 x A380. They may even drop SCL and codeshare on LA, rumours have it that LATAM want to go SYD/SCL non stop. If and when the AA JV is approved Brisbane will get a daily AA...

VH-ZNB Boeing 787-9
May 11, 2018, 03:41 PMHaven't come across any issues with the aircraft though have only travelled on it once, Mel/Lax. Good flight, food and wine great but, champagne good old Duval Leroy, still something better than Jacquart that I encountered on one flight last year.

Qantas, Perth Airport argue over Jo'burg flights
Apr 26, 2018, 05:34 PMQantas not only competes with heavily subsidised carriers but also has to try and serve all major Aussie markets. QF Perth's new International service only work as they can consolidate flights and hub passengers in from other parts of Australia, also using T3 and T4 allows it to maximise the util...

So what lounges should be next on Qantas' radar to refresh or completely refu...
Aug 27, 2015, 04:06 PMI was Platinum for a number of years before dropping back to Gold so I have really noticed the difference, agree the Melbourne International lounge is dreadful, crowded in the mornings, dark and depressing and very average food offerings. Sometimes I just go to Vue for a coffee and wait for my fl...
