Alan Joyce said above that existing narrowbodies cannot fly MEL - SIN. However PR already flies (until August) its narrowbody A321neos between SYD and MNL nonstop, and that's a slightly longer route than MEL - SIN. (It also flies these BNE - MNL.) Was he correct?
