Lufthansa is now flying into and out of the new London Heathrow T2 terminal, with travellers on the German airline treated to new Senator and Business lounges.

The lounges are of course open to other eligible T2 flyers booked in business or first class with Lufthansa's Star Alliance partner airlines, or those holding a Gold frequent flyer card in any Star Alliance airline.

Claimed to be Lufthansa's largest lounges outside Germany, there's room for up to 350 guests across 1,600 square meters.

Almost all Star Alliance airlines have made the move to T2, also known as The Queen's Terminal, with several – among them United Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Air Canada – operating their own lounges rather than a single alliance family lounge, as is the case in Los Angeles.
