I will be in Vancouver in August and I'll be returning to Sydney on Qantas, and I have lounge access, however since the Cathay lounge is still closed, I can see from my booking that I have to use the Plaza lounge in Vancouver, just wondering if anyone has used this lounge, what is it like and is it worth spending time there?
Nothing Premium about the Plaza Premium Lounge at YVR. Has been consistently sub-standard for years. Food offering is limited and of very poor quality and choice and drinks menu extremely limited. Frankly an embarrassment to Qantas.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Plaza Premium Lounge at YVR when I was there last April ahead of QF76. The food was fresh and plentiful, including great wonton noodle soup. It is nice and quiet if you can get a seat away from the main walkway. Not quite the level of Cathay Pacific lounges, but definitely on-par with the QF lounges in Sydney.

When we flew QF J YVR to SYD in Feb last year we were sent to the sky team lounge which was quite nice. Not sure if this has changed though.
