    I was on this flight recently but my final destination was Milan.From memory, those going to barcelona stayed on the plane, although I'm not sure if they were made to disembark later and go through some sort of "fast-track" lane.

  • It's a shame because Brazil is a rapidly growing economy. I believe Lufthansa operates 747-8s to Rio and sao Paulo but that's about it. I expect Emirates or LH to make a move with the A380s sometime soon.

  • Yes peak travel to Europe means that SQ 227/228 is an A380 instead of 77W from 19 June to 20 July. Same goes for SQ 231/222 to sydney from June 18 to July 31.

    Chicago-ORD and LAX (especially for transiting into domestic flight) are definitely the worst. SFO is not bad.A 'good' american airport is yet to surface.

    sorry on second inspectioin i would say IST is around 13 hours.

    Using approximate distance, and current flight patterns I would say that broome - LHR is a good 17 hours. To paris is around 16h 30m. unfortunately the only aircraft that could think of doing these treks is the boeing 777-200LR (airbus a340-500 might be capable as well). Qantas has neither of the...
