Qantas Airbus A380 Melbourne-Tokyo on Oct 21 2019
Feb 20, 2019, 04:55 PMInteresting! Looks like the charter is timed for the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup. Seems they're pretty confident that Australia will make it through the pool matches....

AA domestic to QF international - advice as separate tickets
Jan 26, 2019, 09:55 PMI wouldn’t expect it, never had success on getting an AA PNR to connect to a QF PNR and check bags through in any class of travel. But, of course best of luck.

Al Safwa paid entry and cash upgrades at Doha Hamad International
Jan 21, 2019, 09:38 AMI did this on Friday out of necessity. J lounge full and shower wait was 40mins and my flight started boarding at that time. Was flying J to JFK and QF platinum and told them the situation (unsure if paid entry was still being accepted), they accepted and I paid the 250 Riyals. Lounge was practic...

Flying Sydney to Panama direct - will this route ever happen?
Dec 06, 2017, 02:28 PMPerhaps you're confused with the announced, but not flown, EK operated DXB-Panama City. I'd presume that SYD-SCL-Panama City would be quicker than SYD-DXB-Panama City.

Emirates Airbus A380 cabin temperatures
May 25, 2017, 03:32 PMIts a broad generalisation that heat puts people to sleep, I for one am the opposite and struggle to sleep when hot. I found SQ J very warm on both sectors from MXP-MEL earlier this year. Why they don't have personal air vents is beyond me.

Will Qantas close the Melbourne First Class lounge?
Apr 28, 2017, 08:53 AMEven if MEL-LAX goes double daily 787 I don't see QF closing the MEL F lounge, it is a massive drawcard for Platinum/P1/Chairman, however I reckon we could see the spa close if F disappears from MEL.

Just flew with Singapore Airlines, return to Singapore in Business.
Mar 18, 2016, 06:01 PMI don't find the service on EK in J to be particularly enjoyable, yes the drinks flow but thats not the be-all and end-all of inflight service.

Does CX have a ticket office at MEL airport?
Feb 29, 2016, 10:25 AMI find their credit card policy so archaic.
