Loyal and high value? Foreign words to Qantas. Less than 1kg over: you're spot on greg959 when you say Qantas has a Jetstar mindset. Vote with your feet, go Virgin. Only way to change things, if enough of us do it. Not that Virgin is exemplary by any means but they do seem to appreciate loyal cus...

  • Good luck and please do let us know how you go. I suspect Qantas will resist.

They certainly have interesting city pairs: Corfu-Graz, Bari-Malaga and many more. Do consider the train for shorter journeys, in Europe rail is comfortable fast and convenient.

  • Project Sunrise "manufacturing" delay

I understand the "manufacturing" delay on the QF a350-1000 relates to the centre fuel tank. I believe EASA has required this be redesigned and reinforced. There is apparently some doubt about whether that can be successfuly achieved. One issue is extra weight such a modification will cause. Time ...

  • QF15/16 cancellation

    Feb 13, 2024, 12:29 PM

You definitely should contact Qantas asap to see what is happening. Do you have status? The more of that you have the more your negotiating power. Notice that Fiji Air (Oneworld Connect partner) has a flight to BNE via Nadi departing LAX about 2.5 hours after scheduled QF 16. There's a 2.5 hour ...

An opinion piece in a U.K. newspaper suggests most passengers would be reticent to travel in a Comac C919, similar to a 737 but made in China. No major Western carrier has ordered this aircraft yet, though there may be reasons to do so including that immediate delivery is available. I'm intereste...

pab2025 is correct in theory. However, I understand many pax do leave the flight in MEL even though booked to ADL. With carry on only this is no problem, just go through immigration etc as normal - you are entering Australia, not a specific city. Even with checked baggage I understand a word wit...

  • Brisbane Hotel Question

Agree Southbank is the better location by far. Hyatt Regency is the better hotel by far. I'd go with the Hyatt, because it's just a short stroll across Victoria Bridge from Southbank anyway, or a quick dash on one of the CityCat ferries.

  • All 737-9 Max (171 in service) must be inspected. The operator with the most of this type is United.
