• I just filled in a QF survey last night and it was about what is important when you can fly again.....one interesting option was 'would you travel if FF points were lowered' ...so I don't think they will be devaluing them but trying to get you to use points by offering lower points options!

  • Same here in relation to QR booking prior to changeover on a SIN-DOH-ROM....taxes exactly the same now on same route as prior. I understand that it is a partner airline so no real control over taxes. However, having said that, why did the points go up when the partner airline did not ask for an...

  • most definitely keep checking, particularly if you have a refundable tkt. I was overseas in Ireland and grabbed a J FF seat 3 weeks before coming back. Also same situation ex ZRH, FCL FF seats released a few weeks prior. On that flight we were the only two people in First Class!!

  • having worked in Qantas Res, believe me they release very few in the premium cabins...plenty in economy.  I use my points on other Oneworld/EK/Partner carriers as they are easier to get.  Nice to hear EK are going to have a PY cabin.
