I think they're certain this route will become a regular, they seem to be just playing it conservative just in case things don't go they way they wanted to.

Looks great and pricing is great too compared with Apple's ridiculous $2700 for the Touch Bar, although MS charges their own premium over other computer brands.

QF making PER the "new" Dubai is nice so-to-speak but I wish they maybe order a Y-heavy 787 config. to tackle routes to India where demand is only likely to get higher and there's no real competition in the direct market. DEL might be tough given AI can afford to price lower although I believe BO...

Hopefully QF can do a route there, a great place to visit, would be a real shame if there's no demand to go there.

The 787 from LHR-PER-MEL-LAX will be the same plane but QF9 will terminate in MEL and then assume the QF93 number to LAX. The same could be said for this service.

Sounds pretty good but I can see the lounges being a lot more occupied with all the children making noises. 

I can deal with everything else but lower SCs flying MEL-PER-LHR especially when it's a lot more expensive and far brutal just seems absurd. At least give more SCs for what you're paying and enduring.

While I don't like what QF have done, but you can't blame them if load factors from MEL weren't great, they've most likely done their homework and considered the backlash this move would receive so let's just give them a chance and see how it all plays out. There's still lots of time until March ...

I think since EK doesn't have the rights for TXL, QF should perhaps do MEL-HKG-TXL or something of that type and that way could absorb all the Aussie customers along with those connecting from CX. Not sure how this would play out but QF have a real chance at stepping all over EK and CX on th...

EY just around a week ago announced plans to cut Mumbai from their A380 roster in favour of Paris, and now they might be doing the same for Melbourne and using that A380 to ramp-up one of their European services.

Etihad have announced that they will be rotating to Paris instead at the expense of cutting down A380 for Mumbai and Melbourne.

Hi I think it might be a good touch to add a photo of the plane from outside and possibly a view from the windows if it's noteworthy. I am aware that AusBT is not meant to be an aviation enthusiast site but might be a nice touch to reviews.

In 20 to 30 years time I hope this comes to fruititon at least on short-medium haul routes as people start realising EVs and invest more into them and eventually expanding to planes, the massive reduction in noise is enough to warrant investment in electric planes if it werent for the obvious env...
