QF J on a380 is rubbish compared to the major players, particularly emirates and qatar. I flew Qatar to Europe at Christmas last year. Dine on demand, great seats which don't sag, decent wine and champagne ( better wine than QF F), great lounge and roughly half the price being asked by Qantas. Th...

Nov 15, 2016, 09:59 AMFYI seat 2a is always the first to get booked out, most popular = best? when travelling alone I prefer the A seats, 1 a too close to toilet, 5a too close to economy, pick of the bunch are 2-4a in my view, having travelled in this cabin innumerable times

Noise-cancelling headphones in business class
Sep 15, 2016, 01:56 PMNC headphones provided by the airlines are universally rubbish, I wouldn't keep them even if they gave them away!. Even the $30 ones from aldi are better. I also have invested in the bose qc25"s. they are brilliant except on dragonair where they dont fit the socket.
