thanks chris - so much for priority embark/disembark then! cant wait to get to copenhagen and get stuck behind economy in the queue for immigration - i wonder if it is ready for a 615 seat plane - the same goes for BHX in UK!

so many questions to this one chris - having not long ago booked our copenhagen trip (for next year not the first one unfortunately) i was told at booking that the bar will be behind business in front of economy - which is at odds to your piece above - the online seat booking doesnt make it clear...

  • should be - they say allow 90mins - depends if you catch the bus times on disembarking from BA flight - normally run every 10-20mins so you should be fine - just another security check when you get to T3 to get through though!

  • No

  • henrus refers to the A gates lounge - much better and bigger than the B gates lounge (which is undergoing refurbishment currently and is therefore not as nice as normal) - the A gates is the arrival point for the A380 and B gates for the 777 and others so you might have to schlep between terminal...

  • now an emriates convert - previously with the schlepp from ADL  to SYD or MEL  to get to LHR and then connect to CPH or drive up to Birmingham (my family home)  was a royal pain - now 2 flights direct from ADL via dDXB and i am there to either of my 2 european cities - great choice...

  • living in adelaide its a no brainer - emirates all the way to blighty or denmark depending on which relatives being visited - one stop direct flights - gone are the days of the trip from ADL to SYD and then connecting at LHR for CPH or the drive up to the midlands for my relatives - service and s...

if flying in economy i always try to get the back for all your wonderful reasons TRB - i also like the fact that usually you can get bin space too!

  • depends where you are flying from in Oz and how much time you like wasting at airports - if (like me) you are in Adelaide then Emirates is the way to go as 'direct' via dubai as one stop and great business service (IMHO) although Cathay and Malaysian of course are there too - if you have the luxu...

  • Seat selection on SYD-DFW

    Jan 27, 2015, 10:41 AM

its a gamble - have tried to do it in Emirates business - the middle 3 - where i have put the 2 of us together leaving the aisle seat free - would never try the 3 seat split as not worth the agro that might go with the seat change - plus its slightly iffy morally really (although understandable o...

  • cant imagine will take on another UK airport - EK is increasing manchester flights and Birmingham flights so no point Qantas doubling up - their EK tie in has limited what it can do surely!?
