• there's a section of the Cathay business Pier lounge reserved for Oneworld Emerald's - with champagne, table service and an a la carte option available too

  • Actually prefer the QF lounge to the CX f pre-pandemic. I’ve come to love the food and beverage offering and much friendlier ambience of the QF lounge with 2 bars, à la carte dining around QF flights and the variety of different gins. Showers are brilliant too as is furniture. Always...

  • wonder what routes from the 2019 network this would impact? i would wager Mel/Sin and the seasonal Syd/HK A380 flights

I thought delta offered extensive bedding in their delta one product? I know they used to make a big deal out of their partnership with Westin at least?

  • I'm wondering the same thing as Jorge_Fly. I'm assuming that as Platinum's we get to choose between Emirates and Etihad? If so, which is the better lounge? Any advice appreciated.

I have a long layover in the middle of the night in Lima (arriving 8:30PM, departing 1:30AM). Does anyone have any experience of the lounges in Lima and how good they are, or personal experience/advice on where the best place is to go and wait out the transit in the terminal? Any advice would be ...

Does anyone have any idea as to what the refreshed interior looks like of for Business for VH-OJM/OEB, given that's what QF annouced earlier this year?

Thanks everyone! Looks unlikely then. Cheers.

  • Does anyone know the rollout schedule for the upgraded Qantas A330-300/200 planes for the rest of the year? I did a quick check on FR24 and I see that QF-QPD and VH-QPE are out of service - I assume they must be getting upgraded?

  • Sorry - asked this before - please ignore

  • What will happen to the Brisbane flights now they go through to New York? Will they still continue to stop at Terminal 4 at LAX, or will they change to TBIT to use the new facilities etc?

Fantastic article - I have to ask this though - if you could only go to one lounge in HK, and you could go to any Oneworld lounge, where would you go?

  • Yes, Air China do have fully flat beds on SYD to PEK. They use, depending on the season, different aircraft though (A330 and 777). I flew with them in January last year, on the 777, and the seats were really private, comfortable, and there were lots of handy nooks to store essentials in. The food...

  • I would choose Emirates, even though it doesn't have the A380 product, food and entertainment wise Emirates does really well. Hope this helps, although Emirates only has one night flight, which might not be so convenient for all.

  • Very true, DaveK. It is interesting that MAS is putting another A330 onto the Melbourne route. Maybe this is the first step for, hopefully, sometime in the future a MAS A380 in AUstralia perhaps??
