Mar 18, 2014, 10:33 PMThe only real answer you will get is by calling the airline - call United, as you are using their miles. Even if you see availability in your searches, its doesnt mean they can have access to it.

Preview: Air New Zealand, Sports Illustrated swimsuit safety video
Feb 09, 2014, 10:06 AMI'm expecting a Victoria Secret Angels Safety Video coming out soon. The airline that seals that deal will get the kudos. The key - is to have a number of extended versions which is only shown on-board, so people will choose (convenience permitting) to fly that airlines to have a peek. Airline...

Are airline alliances a thing of the past?
Feb 09, 2014, 10:00 AMI see the trend to be part of an alliance with extra partners to fill your unique gaps. I have not seen any examples of an alliance member pulling out of that alliance to just have bi-lateral partnerships, as its revenue would drop off a cliff, no airline can survive such a move. The alliance r...

What's the best Star Alliance program for business class award flights from Australia to SE Asia and on to Europe?
Feb 03, 2014, 07:43 PMi would say SQ has the best deal. A good amount of frequent flyer seats and a low points cost - though they do charge a hefty fuel tax surcharge. Also watch out for SQ 3 year wolling expiry of points (though you can extend once for a small fee) Steve - iflyflat

Trouble redeeming Qantas points for award seats
Jan 28, 2014, 03:57 PMAgree with the calling, they are quite helpful and nice on the phone and you can book straight away - though it will cost you the fee and the on-hold time on the phone (if they are busy - unless you call in the dead of the night). But you get to keep your sanity. In additon to ExpertFlyer, KVS, ...

US Airways / Star Alliance award seat from Sydney - New York
Jan 07, 2014, 07:42 PMTough one you have as United are being very tight with their saver award seats (which is what US Airways can access). You can consider going via Beijing. You wont be able to pair this with an Oneworld flight, as you cant have half / half, and US airways is a roundtrip price. The option will be ...
