• True. I flew MH A350-900 Business Suite seats back in 2019.  I didn't close the door at all. Never found a need to even if all 4 seats in the cabin are full. However, I was the only passenger in Business Suite then.

  • I agree with you on that. Able to see out of the window but without the glare intensity. Sort of like a large external sunglass. I vote for the electrical dimmable window. That could be a middle path between those who wants to sleep without eyeshades and those who want to see outside. Currently m...

  • What view? I do open the the window shades partially and momentarily during those long haul flights and all I see is a sky above and white clouds down below (if not the wing and engines). I have seen and know what clouds looked like. And if there are no clouds, everything else is too small to be ...

  • I had only a couple of experience in Malaysian Airlines Business Suite seat in their Airbus A350. I see no importance at all for the sliding door and during my flight I kept the door open. Anyhow the sliding door was stiff and difficult to move.  I was on holiday at that time but even when I...

I have once upgraded from business class (D) to first class on TG flight NRT-BKK using my SQ KrisFlyer Miles in Mar 2013. The eligibility is the business class fare must be D or C.

  • I think it is premature to lift any travel restrictions when there are still thousands of new cases worldwide. Maybe there are some signs of the curve flatenning but the numbers will increase again if we are not careful. The only valid reason for air operations now is to repatriate stranded citiz...

  • Those suites will be too expensive and might even surpass the cost of a private jet. The ultra-rich will choose to fly in private jets while the rest won't be able to afford these suites. Employers will never pay these seats for their travelling employees.

  • The old B707-320 did have at least 5000nm range. And sizewise it is as big as B757-200. But wonder why B707 can only carry about 150 pax.

  • MH has never served any alcoholic beverages in any of their domestic flights for as long as I can remember.  Several years ago (back in 2013) they used to serve beer and red/white wines on regional international flights (e.g. KUL-BKK, KUL-CGK) even in economy class. But on a recent business ...

  • Are you sure on this? I just checked and found that KUL-PER direct flight is A330. They use B737 for BKI-PER. At times the fare might be cheaper if you fly KUL-BKI-PER though it takes a hell lot longer.

  • All this talk about better comfort is meant for those seating at the pointy end.  The accompanying pictures says it all.  Very few people will be lying down flat sleeping or enjoying champaigne with their gourmet meal laid out on a table cloth.  Majority will just be having a tray ...

  • But I thought the A380 can accommodate 18.5" width seat (armrest-to-armrest) for 3-4-3 configuration?  17.5" means having very wide aisles.  And Airbus had always advocate at least 18" wide seats.

  • Because that bird cannot fly.  Not a good representation of a new aircraft, or any aircraft for the matter.

  • I just wonder why the B737 flights for KUL-DRW route are operating at such odd hours, i.e. arriving DRW at 0320hrs from KUL and departing DRW at 0410hrs for KUL.  Maybe this is the reason for low load factor.  MH should operate the flights at a more suitabl...
