Mar 08, 2024, 02:41 PMNo no no and no. It's a joke in the usa.

Qantas considers ‘subscription model’ for lounge access
Feb 21, 2024, 12:02 PMSeriously? The domestic business lounges are so full right now. Something like what is proposed just devalues status and loyalty.

Oneworld to launch alliance-wide upgrades this year
Jan 24, 2024, 03:14 PMI hope when this comes in that FF's belonging to a specific airline get priority over FF's of another OneWorld carrier and its not a free for all.

Emirates lounge access for Qantas frequent flyers [2024]
Jan 17, 2024, 03:17 PMI've always found the EK lounges outside DXB to be underwhelming with awful furniture etc and in DXB I find the lounges to be clinical and cold (personality not temperature) and the shower rooms in the Dubai first lounge are awful. Like saunas and you cant reduce the water temperature, no aircon/...

This year, Australians will be charged a fee to enter the UK
Jan 12, 2024, 02:30 PMIn case I missed it somewhere, how long is each ETA valid for or do you have to do it every trip? The ESTA is a couple of years (from memory) and I think the European one will be similar when that comes in at the end of the year.

‘Secret’ pilot, crew rest areas on the A350, A380, 777 and 787
Aug 02, 2023, 08:14 PMCount me out. I feel claustrophobic when the seat converts to a bed and legs go into the "tunnel". Feel very restricted.

Reviews: best Oneworld lounges at London Heathrow T3 [2023]
Aug 02, 2023, 08:10 PMWhile waiting for BA to cancel my flight in mid-June at T3, I started at the Qantas lounge (made sure I got the salt and pepper squid), then went to BA first, on to Cathay first and then back to Qantas before returning to BA first to find out about my flight which of course been cancelled and BA ...

May 31, 2023, 04:52 PMthats a solid point and crew need to stop people filling overhead bin space nowhere near their seat and that needs to be part of this exercise.

Photos: Qantas reopens Hong Kong business class lounge
Apr 28, 2023, 03:51 PMThat's great getting the QF HKG Lounge back. I was in the CX The Wing first lounge a couple of weeks ago and was surprised how badly it needed a refurb. I would never have expected to see carpets worn down to the threads in front of couches, as was the case.

Qantas extends frequent flyer status up to mid-2024
Aug 22, 2022, 05:17 PMWhile its a reasonable gesture, it would've been good if they helped those aiming for lifetime platinum. Lost a lot of ground over last couple years to get to that level. Maybe offered a choice??

How to get a room upgrade at Hilton, Conrad, DoubleTree hotels
May 27, 2022, 05:15 PMI am lifetime diamond with hilton honors and in my view they are getting very stingy with upgrades. I even struggled to get a 4pm checkout at Homewood Suites in Miami having been there 2 weeks, and the hotel was only 63% full. As for breakfast in the USA, forget it, they give you a credit that ra...

Pets approved in Australian aircraft cabins, airlines still reluctant
Apr 29, 2022, 04:06 PMNo please let's not have this happen here. All the more reason to stick with Qantas. I can accept dogs for the vision impaired but not the type stuff that happens in the USA with "support animals". It's a farce in the USA and just allows people to avoid the cost of the animal travelling in ...
